Seamus Horan

From Tawnylea in Co Leitrum, Seamus is highly respected fiddle player and carrier of the tradition. He won many Feis competitions and in the 1960's played with the Shannon Star band.

Seamus was a great friend and companion of flute player Packie Duignan, who is shown on the left of the picture.

Seamus appears on the Temple Records release 'Irish Traditional Music' (COMD2079), also featuring John Rea, Packie Duignan, Sean McAloon, Sean Wynne & Robin Morton
