COMD2050 Battlefield Band - Quiet Days Battlefield Band - Quiet Days John McCusker Battlefield Band Alan Reid Iain MacDonald Alistair Russell COMD2050
Released in 1992/1993, this 60 minute album was recorded partly in Scotland and partly in St Louis, USA, and contains 12 tracks which include a lot of new material - songs and tunes - written by the band as well as some great traditional material. There are already signs that the sales of this one will outstrip their last release New Spring, which was awarded a platinum disc for sales by the Scottish Music Industry Association.
EDINBURGH EVENING NEWS - ... have done it again, another beaut of an album ... shows them at their brilliant best.
FOLK BUZZ - Another fine album from the Battlefield Band but then again, I don't think I have ever heard a bad Battlefield Band album.
