We're very pleased to say that Temple Records artists Battlefield Band are included in this years list of inductees along with many other deserving recipients including, to mention only a few, Barbara Dickson OBE, award winning piper Murray Henderson and the late, great Michael Marra. You can find a complete list of the inductees below.
Event founder and promoter, Simon Thoumire, said: “This year’s hall of fame inductees are truly inspirational, spanning across music, broadcasting, language and politics. It’s a great honour to celebrate this great list of people and to showcase what an incredible pool of talent we have in Scotland. We are looking forward to seeing these special guests and their families at our Scottish Traditional Music Hall of Fame Dinner in November”
All of the past and present members of Battlefield Band (twenty three and counting, over forty seven years!) have been invited to to the event dinner and presentation and it promises to be a great night.
Tickets for the Scottish Traditional Music Hall of Fame Awards dinner, on Friday 11th November 2016, are available to the public and can be booked online at: https://projects.handsupfortrad.scot/hall-of-fame/scottish-traditional-music-hall-of-fame-dinner-2016/
