Battlefield Band and Alison Kinnaird - Music In Trust - Vol I and Vol II

Select from currently available formats:
In early 1985, Battlefield Band, Alison Kinnaird and Robin Morton were asked to produce music for a television series about the National Trust for Scotland. The trust own and protect a wide range of the natural and man-made heritage of Scotland; castles, 'big-houses', gardens, battlefields, mountains, islands and coastlines.

This first album of soundtrack music (Music In Trust - Vol I) proved so popular that it was quickly followed with a second volume (Music In Trust - Vol II). In 2005 these two albums were re-issued as this double album set, which is available for the same price as a single album.

"...demonstrates in equal measure the rich heritage of Scotland and the composing skills of those involved. As always with Temple Records the excellent music is backed by superb production"
FOLK ROOTS (Music In Trust I)

...this album is quite stunning - a beautifully controlled piece of work and a complete entity - I look forward to volume three"
