Hailing from the island of Lewis, Eilidh MacKenzie is a well respected Gaelic Singer and songwriter. Eilidh and her sister Gillian are both National Mod Gold Medal winners. She was a member of the Gaelic 'super-group' Mac-talla who leapt to the fore in the burgeoning Gaelic song scene - not surprising when you look at the pedigree of the band: the other members were Arthur Cormack from Skye, and Christine Primrose, both outstanding Gaelic singers, and they were joined by two of the finest musicians working in their fields, Alison Kinnaird, on harp and cello, and Blair Douglas, from Skye, on keyboards and accordion.

Since working with Mac-talla, Eilidh has been recording her solo album and working with 'Mackenzie', a Gaelic vocal group of made up of Eilidh and her sisters Gillian and Fiona.

Eilidh has recorded one solo album for Temple Records ( COMD2048 Eideadh Na Sgeulachd) and can also be heard on Mac-talla's Mairidh Gaol Is Ceol (Temple Records COMD2054)
