Sean McAloon

Originally from Fermanagh, Sean McAloon (1923-1998), one of the great players of the uilleann pipes (Irish bagpipes), inspired and encouraged a generation of pipers in Belfast in the 1970's and '80's. His major musical influence was the Sligo fiddler Michael Coleman.
